"It belongs in a museum."

Mom and I went to see National Treasure today. It was amusing and parts of it were actually pretty good. It was made better though, by the supreme nerdiness of the people in our row....us.

There was some jumping up and down when Christopher Plummer appeared....

At one point, they were talking about how all the treasure should be split up and sent around the world to various locations like the Smithsonian and the Louvre, I turned to Mom and said the title of this post.

At another point, Nicolas Cage was talking about how he didn't want to go to prison:

Alfie: Yeah, he already spent eight years there.

Word to the wise, never go see movies involving archivists or archives with an ARCHIVIST. They tend to get upset when historical documents are tampered with in any way. In Air Force One, my parents freak out when Glenn Close rips up a document that they think should go to the National Archives....

P.S. Justin Bartha, you were my favorite part. I'm sorry you had the misfortune to be in that other movie.
