I'd like to thank the Academy....

On Monday night, we went to help Mike out by being extras in his movie.  We got to meet some of the people in the cast, including the star, and we got to sit at a table in the coffee house and pretend to drink coffee and ignore the star of the movie and his singing, when we were really sitting around trying to block out the playing of "The Candyman" in the background, which was apparently on repeat because we heard it about nine times while we were sitting there.  Luckily we arrived late, otherwise we might have gone insane.

I feel sorry for people who walked past the filming, because chances are, all they could see were Mike and Tiffany's butts in the window.  They were holding up bedsheets in front of the window to try to block out some of the sunshine that was interfering with the filming.

It was a pretty interesting experience.  I hope that someday I'll get to see the finished product.
